Meditation facilitates the realisation of bliss as the essence of one’s being; as the essence of all beings. Indeed, the realisation of one’s existence as the blissful universal Cosmic existence.
Bliss is infinite happiness; the deepest feeling of love and connectedness within ourselves. Indeed within all beings of the entire universe. It’s always there, no matter what. It’s just a matter of accessing it, developing a connection with it, deepening that connection so as to feel it pervade oneself and one’s life more and more each day, translating that feeling of connectedness into making this world a better place, and ultimately realising it as the Supreme Truth. That’s the essence of the spiritual search. And it’s the full experience of that bliss which will be the greatest consummation of our life’s longing. According to yogic philosophy, we’re all on a journey which will ultimately culminate in the total and permanent state of infinite bliss for each and every one of us.
Beyond the mind there is only the eternal delight of timeless bliss. Forget yourself in the exquisiteness of that bliss. Become one with the flow of the world; with the outturn of all events. Good and bad, black and white, are but transitory states within the one continuous flow of all things. Sooner or later loss turns to gain; pleasure to pain. Tears flow from the eyes in joy as well as in sorrow. But beyond earthly opposites lies only the one endless and eternal truth. To realise it means freedom from loss. How can you lose that which you perceive in all things? Remember the limitlessness of your being; the eternity of your existence. Know that one undying love that sustains all others; forever unchanged, within which all things exist. Transcend your mind into the endless bliss of that infinite oneness.
